Hello, my name is Kristen. I have over a decade of clinical therapy experience. I am passionate about helping children, teens, and their families navigate their mental health journeys. I hold a Master’s degree from Cleveland State University and have received extensive training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as specialized approaches like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for treating trauma and OCD. I aim to offer practical, evidence-based therapies that support young clients in overcoming their challenges.
In my work, I have had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of children and adolescents facing various mental health struggles, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD. My approach is always integrative and client-centered, so I carefully adapt therapy to meet each child or teen’s needs. I believe in fostering a space where they can feel safe, heard, and empowered to express their feelings and explore their experiences at their own pace.
I’m deeply committed to building a therapeutic environment where children and teens feel supported in their personal growth. By providing a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space, I aim to help them develop the coping skills and resilience to manage life’s ups and downs. If you’re looking for a compassionate therapist who understands the unique needs of young people, I would be honored to work with you, your child, or your teen.
