“What we call human nature in actuality is human habit.” —Jewel.
Our lives are a summation of moment-to-moment decisions that can become complicated over time. I specialize in EMDR work, but I take a holistic approach to ensure that my clients are “living their best lives” by making great choices to thrive and become autonomous in their own lives. Sometimes, mental health problems are merely the outcome of poor choices. I strive to help clients “get out of their own way” and make choices most conducive to allowing the human experience to heal and progress by re-aligning with nature via lifestyle choices.
I have experience with children/families, teens, and adults, providing help with self-care for counselors and other working professionals, those with autoimmune diseases or mood disorders that may also impact nutrition and mental health, addictions (such as digital/screen addictions, anxiety/depression), and those struggling with grief or loss.
I also work with traumas like PTSD, perfectionist issues, and issues such as anger management, sleep hygiene for disrupted circadian rhythms, and nutrition/lifestyle choices for those interested in weight loss or mood enhancement. I find my profession a privilege and an honor to work with people to create a life you don’t need to escape from regularly!
