Coretta “Rae” Daniel is a social worker with experience serving individuals and families across a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, and correctional facilities. She is passionate about supporting youth, adolescents, teens, parents, and caregivers as they navigate mental health challenges across home, school, and community environments.
Coretta has a special interest in working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma and desire healing, growth, and recovery. She approaches mental health from a holistic perspective, recognizing the connection between emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual well-being. For clients who desire it, she can incorporate biblical principles into the therapeutic process.
Her clinical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-focused interventions, psychoeducation, and supportive talk therapy. Coretta particularly enjoys helping clients better understand and manage anxiety, depression, and trauma-related behaviors. She also has a passion for supporting parents and caregivers who have children with complex mental health challenges and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
Coretta is currently completing her Master of Social Work degree at Walden University and is expected to graduate in Fall 2026. She is committed to creating a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey.
