Hi, I’m Julia. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University before returning to Ohio State to complete a graduate-entry Master of Science in Nursing, where I obtained my RN license and advanced training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My clinical background includes experience in outpatient psychiatry, higher levels of care (PHP/IOP), inpatient state hospital settings, pediatric behavioral health, and psychiatric crisis services.
I have experience working across the lifespan with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety and depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, psychotic-spectrum conditions, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, and substance use challenges. My foundation in neuroscience informs my evidence-based approach to medication management, while my nursing background keeps my care grounded in compassion, collaboration, and whole-person support. I also incorporate practical therapeutic skills to help support lasting progress.
Seeking mental health support can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your treatment decisions.
