I am a Master Licensed Social Worker in Ohio specializing in work with children, families, and couples. My clinical focus includes attachment styles, parental support, early childhood development, and strengthening family systems during times of stress and transition.
My professional journey began in 2023 in child protective services, investigating abuse and neglect cases. This experience deeply shaped my commitment to supporting families proactively; helping caregivers build safe, stable, and nurturing environments where children can thrive.
In 2024, I transitioned into Early Childhood Mental Health, providing community-based psychotherapy for children ages 0–6 while partnering closely with parents and caregivers. This work solidified my belief that meaningful change happens when we support the adults in a child’s life. Children do well when they can and when they struggle, their behavior is communication. Tantrums, withdrawal, and impulsivity are often signs of unmet needs, stress, or dysregulation.
As a mother of two, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience into my work. I understand the realities of parenting and the importance of feeling supported rather than judged.
My work with children is rooted in attachment theory and incorporates developmentally appropriate, play-based therapy. Play is a child’s primary language, and through therapeutic play, children can express emotions, process experiences, build regulation skills, and strengthen their sense of safety and connection. I use play to help children develop emotional literacy, coping skills, and secure relationships with the important adults in their lives
In all, I utilize a systems-based framework, recognizing that children and individuals exist within families, relationships, and environments that shape their emotional well-being. In addition to working with young children and parents, I support couples and families navigating life transitions such as divorce, career changes, grief, and other significant adjustments.
My goal is to help clients strengthen the foundation of their relationships because when caregivers feel secure and supported, children flourish.
