I’m Conida N. Hawk, MA, Ed.S, LPCC-S, a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 15 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate and overcome mental health challenges. Specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused CBT, I am deeply committed to providing a supportive and personalized approach to care. My expertise also extends to couples, family, and group counseling, as well as chemical dependency counseling, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health and wellness.
In addition to my clinical work, I have extensive experience in clinical supervision and staff development, helping to shape and mentor the next generation of mental health professionals. I’ve also held leadership roles where I guided case management teams and helped connect clients with essential resources. My passion for education is reflected in my role as a psychology instructor at Cuyahoga Community College, where I’ve taught various courses, including General Psychology, Life Span Development, and Behavior Modification.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Central State University and a Master’s degree in psychology as well as an Education Specialist degree in counseling and pupil personnel administration from Cleveland State University.
