I work with people who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, mood changes, difficulty focusing, sleep concerns, or major life transitions. Whether you have been struggling for a long time or are reaching out for support for the first time, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable talking openly about what is going on in your life.
As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I take a thoughtful, collaborative, and culturally sensitive approach to care. My nursing background has shaped the way I look at the whole person, not simply a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. I recognize that culture, family, identity, life experiences, and personal values can all shape the way we understand mental health and treatment. I combine evidence-based medication management with therapy-informed care, including principles of cognitive behavioral therapy, while working with you to develop a plan that fits your needs, goals, and everyday life.
Seeking mental health care can feel like a big step, and you do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. I believe the best treatment decisions are made together, and I hope to create a relationship where you feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and being an active part of your care.
