My name is Kateryna Kostenko, but feel free to call me Katy. I provide a safe and empathetic space for you to navigate through issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, women’s issues, cultural concerns, or simply just needing someone to talk to. I am a licensed social worker with a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University. I got my bachelor’s of arts degree in Political Science and minored in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s studies from John Carroll University.
Through my internships at the LGBT Center and Louis Stokes Cleveland V.A. Medical Center, I have worked with LGBTQIA+ and veteran populations. As someone with lived experience as a Ukrainian American immigrant, I am passionate about supporting immigrants. I also have experience working with neurodiverse (ADHD and Autistic) populations.
I believe in empowering you by helping you strengthen coping skills and building resilience. I can meet with you in our office in Aurora or online from anywhere in Ohio, whichever you prefer. I look forward to meeting you!
